Los Tigres Del Norte is a famous regional Mexican band with a legacy dating back as far as 1965. Founded in Sinaloa, Mexico by Jorge Hernandez and his cousins. The music revolves around narcorridos, diving into topics like drug gangs in Mexico. Titles like “Muerte Anunciada” and “El Jefe de Jefes,” gained much prominence in the Norteño scene and catapulted their popularity to an international level. The band eventually sold over 32 million albums and won seven Grammy Awards and 12 Latin Grammy Awards. Today, the band is regarded as one of the most commercially successful Norteño bands in the world.
