The Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour will be celebrating the band’s exceptional success of lasting more than five decades and still being active in releasing new material, including their sixteenth studio album, Trixies!
Shelving their earlier works, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook have finally shared the songs they made before global fame found them. As certified storytellers, the two music makers are now reimagining their tracks to remind the world why their hits have become timeless playlist staples. With narrative-driven and immersive songs, their dynamic setlist will allow fans to hear Tempted, There at the Top, and If I Didn’t Love You live. Aside from Difford and Tilbrook, their bandmates, keyboardist Stephen Large, drummer Simon Hanson, bassist Owen Biddle, guitarist Steve Smith, pedalist and lap steel guitarist Melvin Duffy, and keyboardist and backing vocalist Danica Dora, will also be bringing their instruments for this show. More than a legacy act, Squeeze is proving how outstanding music acts can remain active in creating more songs even after numerous decades.
