'Negro Swan' is a body of work that delves into and explores the Black experience and the artists own personal struggles. The album 'Freetown Sound' showcases Hynes' unique ability to weave together cultural and personal themes to make them relatable, and most importantly danceable. Hynes combines electronic textures and deep songwriting to deliver a one-of-a-kind live performance that continues to push the boundaries of what we expect from modern music. In addition to his work in music, Blood Orange has collaborated with and written for a number of artists including Solange, A$AP Rocky and FKA twigs, as well as having worked in the visual media scoring and designing for a number of projects.
