Next spring, two direct descendants of reggae royalty will be in Vancouver for a tour dubbed as Traffic Jam 2024. On February 27, Damian "Jr Gong" Marley and Stephen "Ragga" Marley—both sons of the legendary figure who requires no introduction—will make an appearance at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. (Having said that, let's pump our fists in honor of the late, tremendously talented Bob Marley, who practically single-handedly brought reggae to a global audience in the 1970s.)

Hits from each of their solo catalogs as well as a medley of the songs that made Bob Marley a legend will be performed during Traffic Jam, the first-ever curated set by the two Marley siblings. Both Damian and Stephen Marley have had successful, lengthy solo careers that have brought them many Grammy Awards. Although reggae has always been their foundation, the two have also ventured into dancehall, hip-hop, R&B, and rock - working with musicians as diverse as Cypress Hill, Nas, and Skrillex.

Over the past 20 years, the brothers have written and performed a large number of hits together, the most recent being "Cast The First Stone" from Stephen Marley's new album Old Soul. The brothers wrote, produced, and performed on famous songs like "Medication," "Grown & Sexy," "All Night," "It Was Written," and, of course, "Traffic Jam," as well as the Grammy-winning reggae classic "Welcome To Jamrock."

The brothers will head on their exclusive Traffic Jam Tour across North America in February and March of 2024. The 18-date tour kicks out on February 16 and includes 15 Live Nation-produced shows. Stops along the way include Las Vegas, NV; Seattle, WA; Vancouver, BC; Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; Toronto, ON; and more. The tour ends on March 30 in Chicago, IL's Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom.
