Following the successful release of their latest album, Syndicate, this will be the most ambitious tour the band have done to date. Officially kicking off in Florida this April 2026, this will be The Midnight's longest run of shows ever, totaling 25 nights over 6 weeks. The set list will likely be filled with tracks from Syndicate plus more, all the way back to Endless Summer. And the show will, as usual, feature some sweet, sweet 80s-inspired visuals and retro-futurism.
This year's tour presents a newish lineup of Tyler Lyle (guitar/vocals), Lelia Broussard (guitar/bass), Royce Whittaker (guitar), Justin Klunk (saxophone), and Kwesi Robinson (drums). The new album, Syndicate, was released in October, andNew Noise Magazine called it "the best The Midnight album in a long time and maybe ever." The band described it as a "transmission from the edge of memory, identity, and connection," and said that the album envisions a post-apocalyptic world where Earth's remnants exist as lingering signals of humanity.
The Midnight's biggest hits over the years have been "Sunset," and "Vampires," from Endless Summer. And from the Trilogy albums, Kids came with "Light Years," Monsters produced "America Online," and the track "Deep Blue," and finally, "Change Your Heart or Die," and "Runaways" came off Heroes.
Built way back in 1959, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre is suited to a wide variety of events, from opera to rock concerts. It is home to both the Vancouver Opera, Ballet BC and was a host venue for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. You can get to the theatre via the Canada Line, which puts it just 5 blocks from Vancouver City Centre station, and there is an EasyPark underground with elevators to all levels.
