A mid-week blessing, truly - ‘cause who said hump day had to be so boring?
William Prince’s rise has been goated ever since we learned of his full story - but if you aren’t in the know yet - let’s take a trip down memory lane. Born and raised in Manitoba and a proud member of Peguis First Nation, he got into music through his pops, who was a preacher in the community and touring musician himself. He's spent the last decade carving out a lane all his own — a place where he perfected his soft-spoken wisdom, warm baritone vocals, and sharp songwriting made him the epitome of what he is today. He broke through ion the international scene with Earthly Days, a record that landed him a JUNO Award, - and the rest was history from there. Next came albums like Reliever, Gospel First Nation, Stand in the Joy, and his newest chapter, Further From the Country. Each one feels like an onion in his life - layers pulled back, a new piece of his story shared with the world. Critics call him “one of Canada’s most essential writers of this generation,” and fans across the globe (aka us) follow all his updates and tour schedule to the T. And now, with new music, new momentum, and a renewed fire for the road, William Prince is stepping into a new era - and quite honestly, we’re just here and along for the ride.
So - let’s review here what we got. 1) A world-class theatre. 2) A voice that feels like home. 3) A tour built around storytelling, community, and heart. And one night only in Vancouver. Why WOULDN’T you want to be there?! Grab your tickets, rally the crew, and get ready for March 4th, — we’ll be right here with you through it all.
