The #belugagrads Family Concert with Raffi is happening! Join us at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in downtown Vancouver on Sunday, November 15th, 2026. The doors open at 2pm and be entertained by the special guest Good Lovelies.

Raffi is currently touring Canada and many other countries in 2026 and will perform in Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Hamilton, London and Toronto as well as many other places. 

Raffi

Raffi is recognized world-wide as the ‘icon of children’s music’ and for three decades he has performed for children of all ages in over 25 countries around the world. The Armenain-Canadian artist, born in Egypt in 1948 brings his signature LIVE performances of all the EPIC songs – from ‘Baby Beluga’ to ‘Down By The Bay’ and ‘Bananaphone’ as well as ‘Apples and Bananas’ , ‘Wheels on the Bus’ and ‘Mr. Sun’ and many more children’s songs. 

He has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and has gained nearly 1 billion streams globally. Many of his songs have been nominated for Grammy awards and he has won several Juno Awards for his children’s albums. In 2001 Raffi was awarded the Companion of the Order of Canada for his work to educate children about the environment, he has since received five honorary degrees, the United Nations Environmental Achievement Award and the Fred Rogers Integrity Award. 

Good Lovelies

The Good Lovelies will bring their iconic 3-part harmonies to the songs from their joint album with Raffi, ‘Penny Penguin’ (2024) – a collection of children’s folk songs from around the world.

Canadian trio Good Lovelies is comprised of Caroline (Jackman) Brooks, Suzanne “Suzy” Towns Tomassoli and Meredith “Meredi” Dickison. The group has been nominated for and has won multiple JUNO Awards including for Folk Album of the Year. 

Queen Elizabeth Theatre Information

The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is located at 630 Hamilton Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 5N6 (at Georgia Street). The largest ‘comfortable seating’ theater in Canada, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre holds up to 2,781 seats throughout the three levels of seating including the Orchestra, Mezzanine and Balcony sections. The theater was opened in 1959 by Queen Elizabeth II and continues to be a major part of Vancouver’s entertainment scene with a variety of productions including musicals, ballet, opera, comedy and children’s shows.

The Queen Elizabeth theatre is one of the largest “comfortable seating” houses in Canada with cushioned seats throughout the venue. The theatre has wheelchair access throughout the venue as well as programs and facilities for guests with special needs. Concessions are also typically available for purchase prior to the show. EasyPark Queen Elizabeth Theatre is a parkade off Cambie Street. For guests with reserved accessible parking, please call EasyPark to make prior arrangements. Vertical access from the parkade to performance space will be provided. Additional street parking and surface lots are located throughout downtown Vancouver.
